There are a few people in this world who pass through like a comet: a celestial anomaly that yields the world to stop in its track, illuminate the eyes of those lucky enough to catch a glimpse, and disappear into the cosmos. Vicky Cao was such a person; a bright, shining star whose presence lingered; a massive presence, evoking a sublime sense of comradery. Everyone she met was her new best friend. And like staring at a comet and basking in the luminescence of its passing, Vicky’s life will light up the memories of those she touched.
On Saturday evening May 15, 2021, Wenjing (Vicky) Cao was taken to Heaven after a fatal car accident by a drunk man took her young life.
Wenjing (Vicky) was born in Shanghai, China to Qi Cao and Beili Wu on July 15, 1992. After completing her undergraduate studies in Shanghai, Wenjing (Vicky) moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue her education & graduate studies in business management & finance. Vicky earned her graduate degree. After her graduation, Vicky worked hard at Ernst & Young and became a Chartered Financial Analyst. Vicky had many other gifts including her passion for singing, playing the piano and guitar. She was truly loved by her family and friends.
Vicky is survived by her loving parents Qi Cao & Beili Wu and her loving Aunt Shanna Gans, along with other family members. Vicky’s Aunt Shanna expressed words that her niece was a very kind, sweet person and loved her family and friends very much.
Vicky’s passion for life could be seen in almost everything she did with her precious gift of life. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her and loved her. In the following days, weeks, months and years make sure you look to the stars and see them “sparkling” just a little brighter, as the brightest among them just joined the sky.
Visitation will take place at Darling & Fischer, Los Gatos on Sunday May 30th from 2pm-6pm
