Walter E. Eberle, DDS a resident of Almaden Valley, for over 55 years and local dentist for over 35 years has passed away on March 21st, 2018. Walter was a very well respected man in business and professionally as well as personally. Dr. Walter Eberle had retired from his dental profession but his patients still loved him. Walter is survived by wife Alice L. Eberle, son Mark Scott Eberle, daughter Stephanie Eberle Richards, his 3 grandchildren Thomas Marzano IV, Christopher Cody Willard and Cheyenne Alicia Richards and proud to say he had 3 great grandchildren Giovantitti Marzano, Debra Lynn Fran Marzano and Alicia Lynn Richards. He is also survived by his only brother Dr. Frederick C. Eberle and family. Dr. Eberle settled here in San Jose.
He was a native of Pine Bluff Ark graduated high school in 1955 from there and in 1958 he graduated from UAM also known as Arkansas A&M College. He then received a DDS degree from Washington University Dental School in St. Louis in 1962 and spent 3 years as an executive officer of the 5th dental company in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Eberle had a very successful dental practice as general dentist for 32 years and retired in 1997. He was involved in many organizations in our community such as the Santa Clara Dental Society, San Jose Rotary Club, and member of the Masons, also the Scottish Rite Shriners and a Paul Harris Fellow in the Rotary Club. Dr. Eberle also was a Charter member of the Almaden Valley Golf and country club plus loved the outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing when he could. As a pillar in society he was very respected and will be missed by all that knew him.
