Thomas Paul Baker died Monday morning peacefully in his sleep.  He was a very caring man who was loved and respected by many. 

Thomas was born in Buffalo, NY and graduated from Los Gatos High School.  After serving in the United States Marine Core from 1954 – 1956 he became a butcher and meat cutter.  In his retirement Tom enjoyed watching his 49ers and working as a golf course marshal for Stanford Golf Course, Santa Teresa Golf Course, and all the special events at Pebble Beach Co.  

Thomas was a husband to his loving wife, Joy; a father to his devoted children Chris Baker and Janine Cook, a grandfather to his three grandchildren Gwendolyn Saylor, Ryan Cook, and Jacob Cook. He was also a great grandfather to his two great grandchildren Caleb Fiorini, and Jayda Cook. His sense of humor and generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. 

Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Monday, May. 22, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at Darling and Fischer funeral home at 615 N Santa Cruz Ave. in Los Gatos and funeral service on Tuesday, May. 23, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish at 4848 Pearl Ave. San Jose, CA. Burial will follow at Los Gatos Memorial at 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd. San Jose, CA.
