Hearts Love 23

Sally Anne Rule

July 18, 1926 ~ June 13, 2022 (age 95)

Sally Lowe Rule was born in Detroit, Michigan to her father, C.J. Lowe, and mother, Stella Shields. She had a brother, Robert, a year older. After her graduation from high school she went to work for General Motors in the research department where a friend introduced her to her husband, George, who had returned home from World War II in the Air Force. They were married in 1948. They lived in Redford Township Michigan where their children, Stacey Lee, Scott Robert, Kirk Woodman, and Keith Brian were born. In 1958 they moved to San Jose, CA as George became a branch manager for an insurance company. Sally worked in the Cupertino High School District at Miller Jr. High in the cafeteria from 1962 to 1980. When she retired she promptly joined Santa Teresa Women’s Golf Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, who passed in 2002. She has 8 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren with one more on the way. She was the happiest when she was with her family; they gathered for a week every summer up at Pine Mountain Lake, California. She also loved her cat, Whiskers, listening to books on tape, and walking.
