When he was five, Ron and his family moved to San Mateo, California, where he loved attending Saturday movies, being a Cub Scout/Boy Scout and playing cowboys and Indians. This was the beginning of an amazing, life-long friendship and love affair of 52 years.
He graduated from San Jose State with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He worked in various industries throughout his career until he became a founding partner of Sportline, which he helped run successfully for over ten years.
Ron will be remembered as a dedicated and loving father to Jennifer and Mike. He took great pride and joy in caring and providing for his family.
He loved fishing, golfing and spending summers at Lake Tahoe, along with taking road trips with Dorinda. He is survived by Dorinda, his daughter, Jennifer (Thomas), his son, Mike (Susan) and his grandchildren Lauren and Justin. He is also survived by his twin siblings, Sherry and Kent (Liz).
