On Saturday, Oct. 21, 2018, we lost our best friend, loving husband and amazing father – Peter Weiss, at the young age of 57. First of all, Peter was a family man, but also a great and caring friend and colleague. He was a lover of music, BBQ-ing, gardening, wine, the island of Maui and sports. A former semi-professional soccer player in Germany, he followed that sport closely along with football, ice-hockey and the Golden State Warriors.
He passed away peacefully after an inspiring and long fight against colon cancer. One of his favorite quotes - by Muhammad Ali - really sums that up: “Don’t count the days; make the days count.”
In line with Peter’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, his preference would be a donation to his son’s (Aidan, now 16) college fund. The gofundmepage can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/aidan039s-college-fund
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 3:00pm at Darling Fischer - Chapel of the Hills (615 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, CA, 95030).
