American Patriotic 11

Peter Groza

June 7, 1922 ~ November 5, 2021 (age 99)

Peter joined his wife of 74 years for a beautiful reunion in Heaven after passing suddenly.

He grew up in Gary, Indiana, and later met his wife, Esther in Detroit, Michigan in early 1946. They married on May 11 of the same year at the First Romanian Baptist Church. The two of them later moved to California, where they set-up residence in Riverside and later Los Gatos.

Peter is survived by their 4 children; Ken Groza (Maria), Brian Groza (Halie), Brent Groza (Gail) and Denise Kennedy (Dan); 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Peter was a proud Naval Pilot during WWII, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He lived his life diligently following the Lord, setting an example of God’s love, and devotedly praying daily for his family and numerous others he considered family. Peter was always the life of the party, with quick quips, puns to make those around him laugh and stories to fill every home. Peter was deeply loved, respected and cherished by his family and friends and each one of us felt the same way about him. He is missed dearly but we look forward to the day we are joined again with our Heavenly Father.
