Naomi L. Chandler

January 10, 1925 ~ April 19, 2022 (age 97)



Naomi L. Chandler at 97 yrs. finished her bonus years on earth 4-19-2022 and peacefully joins a heavenly family and friends. She is survived by son Steve (Margaret) Chandler of Los Angeles, daughter Susan (Tony) McIsaac of San Jose, son Tom (Faye Kawabata) Chandler of San Francisco, grandsons Layne (Melissa), Kevin (Lacey), Clark (Kathryn Kemper) McIsaac, great grandchildren, Marloe, Everly, Hudson and Naomi McIsaac, brother Abbitt (Linda) Hollie and Sister Ruth Burns (in Virginia), nieces, nephews and neighbors who became and are family. Predeceased by Husband Ralph Chandler and brother Eli Layne (of Virginia).

A strong woman, wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother who knew her mind, and shared her opinion. A loved member of the Christian Reformed Church on Camden Ave in San Jose, who embraced her and our family.

Born 1925 on a farm in Virginia, traveled to Washington DC made maps for the government during the war, moved west to Los Angeles CA , worked with Kodak, met Ralph, married and started a family. Later moving to San Jose and enjoyed 64 years here.

Thank you to all who have sent prayers and best wishes for Naomi and our family. We will miss her but confident in knowing it is well with her soul.

Memorial will be at the CRC (5150 Camden Ave.) on 5-21-22  at 11:00 am. If you would like to make a donation in her memory please consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or American Cancer Society.
