Karen Ann Albanese

Karen was born to parents James and Cleo on July 10, 1944 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.  Her family moved to San Jose, California when she was a young child.  She graduated from Notre Dame High School and earned a degree from Santa Clara University in 1966. 

Karen is survived by her daughter Laurie Cerrito and her two grandchildren, Joey and Katy.  She is also survived by her younger sister, Cynthia Mangan.  Karen was predeceased by her son, Daniel in 2006.

She was a loving mother of two children and worked in property management, banking and real estate.  She enjoyed music, walking on the beach, photography, and gardening.  She was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind many beautiful memories.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 219 Bean Ave. in Los Gatos.  Celebration of life to follow the service at Campo di Bocce.  In lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation of your choice.
