Jill Frances Urbina, age 86, died peacefully in her sleep on April 27, 2021 beside her devoted and loving husband, Louie Urbina, and her two beloved dogs, Bentley and Charlie. Born and raised in England, she immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her first husband, Alex McKeon, and infant, Kerry before moving to California where her son, Michael, was born. She moved back to England briefly before settling in California for the rest of her days. In 1975, she met her second husband, Louie, and they spent the next 45 years together. Dogs were the passion of her life and she spent it raising, training, showing and just loving dogs. During her life, she had a Labrador, many St. Bernards, Schipperkes, and King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. She traveled around the country working as an AKC obedience judge and, for many years, served as the club secretary of the Santa Clara County Dog Club. Jill made those around her laugh with her mischievous sense of humor and will be dearly missed by family and friends. She loved animals and the beauty of nature, reading and music, opera and ballet, knitting, walking, flowers and the English countryside. She is survived by her husband, Louie Urbina, daughter, Kerry Leglu (Carlos), son, Michael McKeon (Elia), and grandchildren Marivel Karlson (Ryan) and Anthony McKeon. A graveside burial will be held Friday, May 7th at 1:00 pm at the Los Gatos Memorial Park.
