Harriet Ann Cutts Lundquist, aged 91, died peacefully on February 2, 2021 at her home in Los Gatos, California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George Arthur Lundquist, who died in January of 2018 at the age of 92. She was born in 1929 in Washington DC to James Madison Cutts II and Amy Sedonia Pumphrey. She is survived by her brother, James Madison Cutts III of Maryland, her two children, Amy (Gilson) and Richard, and her three grandchildren, Christian, William and Dalia. Harriet was a long-time resident of Saratoga and Los Gatos and was active throughout her life in supporting the arts and history of the area. She was a member of the Saratoga Foothill Club, a prominent volunteer and one-time Acting Director at Montalvo Center for the Arts, and, in 1976, was instrumental in the creation of the Saratoga History Museum and Park. She will be remembered by her many friends in the area for her love of her dogs, her friends, her family, and her community. A private celebration of her life will be planned when it is safe for us all to gather again.
