Edith Marie Walker

Blessed to have reached over 100 years old, Edith passed peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father.

Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio; married to Otis C. Walker, and moved to San Jose in 1959.  They raised two sons. As an active Christian, she enjoyed daily bible devotions, active in church activities, and watching TV evangelists. She retired from a long career in the dental field, then proceeded to work part time as a school crossing guard, then finished her working career at Costco as a sample lady. She often enjoyed visiting sisters/family in Ohio. She was proud of her yard and garden flowers.  Loved lunch and shopping with friends.  She was proud to be a Grandma and Great Grandma.

She is preceded in death by her husband and two sisters (Geraldine Sheehan and Mildred Nesbitt).

She is survived by Sons: Douglas Walker (Diane) of San Jose , Charles Walker (Lynne) of Tracy, Ca. Granddaughters : Sara Walker,  Lindsay Walker, and great grandson, James Lawrence, all of Tracy, Ca.

Edith requested any memorial donations be made to her favorite charity, Samaritan's Purse

Burial at Los Gatos Memorial Park cemetery with small graveside service on Tuesday August 9 @ 10am.

Arrangements handled by Darling & Fischer Chapel of the Hills, Los Gatos.
