David SalsberyMarch 9, 1959 ~ October 17, 2017 (age 58)
David Duane Salsbery, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He was born on March 9, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. David's kind gentle spirit will be missed every day.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Moore, his sons Christopher and Colton Salsbery, his father and mother, David and Jean Salsbery his three sisters, Mary and John Friend, Betty and Mike Wilson, and Sally Billings, five nephews , David and Jacob Friend, Beau and Billy Billings, Josh Wilson and two nieces, Jamie Billings and Rachel Wilson.
David graduated from Leigh High School in 1977. He went on to San Jose State University and graduated with a degree in biology. Prior to University , David worked as a mechanical designer for Amadahl Corporation for 10 years. Following University David held several jobs as a fisheries biologist with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Santa Clara Valley Water District where he worked until retirement. He enjoyed athletics and young people and spent many of his early years coaching and mentoring in youth basketball and football. David's passion was fishing and being outside. He had a very kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held at Los Gatos Memorial Park 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road at 3:00 p.m. October 26, 2017. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends.
