David Cline, age 67, peacefully entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
David was born on March 27, 1951 in San Jose California to Archibald Cline and Natalie McKnight. He grew up with eight brothers and sisters and attended Fred Marten Elementary School, August Boeger Jr. High School, and Mt. Pleasant High School, all located in San Jose, Ca. He also attended San Jose City College where he received two Associate of Arts degrees. David married Pamela Broussard in 1972, raising two daughters, Angela Miller and Amy Cline in San Jose, Ca. He later married Linda Biernat in 1990, raising one daughter, Sarah Cline, in Los Gatos, CA.
David is survived by his wife, Linda Cline, his three daughters, Angela Miller, Amy Cline, and Sarah Cline, son-in-law, Kirk Miller, three granddaughters, Mariah, Jasmine, and Aveena, sisters Jennifer, Susan, Debra, and brothers, Daniel, Douglas, Jeffrey, and Thomas. He was preceded in death by his brother Frederick and his parents, Archibald Cline and Natalie McKnight.
David worked in the glass business for 49 years. His began working in his father’s glass company and became a sole business owner, operating Cline and Associates for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, walking along the beach, bike riding, hiking, gardening, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys football team.
The Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10 A.M. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 15885 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, Los Gatos, CA. 95032.
