David Andresen was born of Norwegian missionary parents, Erling and Alvina Andresen in Argentina. He came to America in his early twenties and worked in health insurance services for many years. Until quite recently he was the President of Stephen Chelbay-UAS. He had many employees, friends and business acquaintances, who had come to know and respect David.
David had a zest for life, and enjoyed bicycle riding in Argentina. He was a good golfer, enjoying the game. He also took many Gospel Music cruises with his wife, Dawn. They often travelled with family or friends on these cruises. David was a man of principle and faith. He loved the Lord, and toward the end of this life’s journey was looking forward to going home to be with his Lord and Savior.
David is survived by his wife, Dawn Andresen, daughters, Judy Andresen and Cindy Andresen. He leaves behind a brother, Rolf Andresen, sisters, Lillian Anderson, and Ruth Morrison. He was loved by his nephews, nieces and cousins who will miss him greatly.
A small private graveside memorial was held 8/2/2019, at the Los Gatos Memorial Park, that was attended by the family and close friends.
The family suggests memorial tributes may be made to the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.
