Christina Marie Brandt

Tribute

Christina Marie Brandt, 97, of San Jose passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022 with her family present.

Christina was born August 9, 1924 in San Francisco to Peter and Henrieta Floros where she spent her childhood and early adulthood.

During WWII she worked as a riveter at Hammond Aircraft eventually working at Levi Strauss & Co., where she met Fred, the love of her life whom she married and moved to San Jose when Levi's did in the late 1950's. She then became a housewife and stay at home mom to her daughter and later her sons. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, Stamp Collecting, Folk Dancing and Gardening.  She maintained a large Rose Garden in her back yard which produced beautiful flowers.

Christina was the Beloved Wife of the late Fred C. Brandt.  She is survived by two of her sisters Kathryn and Iris, her children Eugenia Polos, Peter and John Brandt, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was a deeply spiritual woman and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in San Jose for more than 45 years.
