Billy Joe Lang II passed away on Friday after a valiant battle with cancer. His love for life and lighthearted sense of humor will be remembered by many.
Bill was born in Germany and lived there until the age of 10, when his family moved to Marina, California. After graduating from Palma High School, he earned a degree in Physics from the University of Santa Clara, where he met his wife, Annie. Bill enjoyed a 36 year career in Silicon Valley as a Semiconductor Packaging Engineering Manager before retiring in 2019. He was a master barbecuer and spent his time enjoying the great outdoors with his family. His many hobbies included camping, fishing, caring for his family’s horses, mushroom hunting, Renaissance Faire, curating music, building computers, and enjoying a good Bier.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Annie; his caring children, Kirsten Berticvich (Paul) of Los Gatos and Jackie Lang (Erman) of Seattle, WA; and his devoted fur baby, Ashley, the English Shepherd. His fun-loving personality and sharp wit will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to join a funeral service on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:30am at St Mary’s Church, 219 Bean Ave in Los Gatos. Burial to follow at Los Gatos Memorial Park.
