Arthur Lester Keswick passed away on Wednesday after a long and wonderful life. He touched many lives through his love of friends and dedication to family.
Arthur was born in Orange, CA, and moved to Palisade, CO to be raised by his grandparents at the age of three, and graduated from Palisade High School. He was an army sergeant in the Pacific during World War Two where injuries earned him two Purple Hearts. He married Kathryn Wells in 1947 and graduated from Colorado University Boulder. He was an accountant for the Atomic Energy Commission, Martin Marietta, and Lockheed. For many years he did the accounting for church and the Boy Scouts. During retirement he and Kathryn served God faithfully at their church in the Villages. He was the steady hand that could always be counted on to be there for family and many others.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Katheryn in 2017. Arthur is survived by his devoted children Curtis and Kathy of San Jose, Christopher and Cynthia of Bath, ME, Paul and Teresa of Morgan Hill, and Peter and Chrisanne of Bloomington, MN; and grandchildren Thomas and Jen of Glendale, Christine and Logan Everett and Michelle and Barry Gordon of San Jose, Amanda Sindel-Keswick of Cambridge, MA, Travis and Melissa Sindel-Keswick of Bath, ME, Jillian and Ryan Grotz of Morgan Hill, Jenessa Keswick of Morgan Hill, Julia and Greg Davis of Kennewick,WA, Natalie and Jared Kingry of Hopkins, MN, Laurie Keswick of Bloomington, MN, and Heidi Keswick of Bloomington, MN; and five great- grandchildren: Cloe, Liam, Lucas, Dillon and Audrey. His generous, loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Trinity Episcopal Church (81 N 2nd St., San Jose) on Wednesday Mar. 14, 2018 at 1 PM. He will be interned at Los Gatos Memorial Park. A reception will be held at 5 PM at the Almaden Community Center (6445 Camden Ave., San Jose)
