A fighter to the end, Arthur James Bonner is finally at rest.
Born in 1932 in New York, he spent his early years in a series of foster homes and orphanages. He served as a U.S. Marine and then went on to college in Oneonta where he met his future wife, Dorothea. His career with IBM took him from New York to Albuquerque and finally to Los Gatos where he and Dotty raised their family. Art is survived by his daughter Suzanne (Clark), son Steve (Terri), grandchildren Sarah (Mike), Kate (Craig), Elysse (Jonathan), Travis, and Paige, as well as his two great-grandchildren, Henry and Poppy. His caregiver, Susie was there for him to the end. Family services will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Art’s name to the Wings of History Air Museum in San Martin where he worked as a volunteer for many years.
