She was Valedictorian of her graduating class, attended business college, and worked for an insurance company for eight years prior to marriage. Adele supported their family life and her husband studied Finance at Toledo University, worked his way up to become controller of Electric Autolite in Ohio, and in 1962, Bill’s company transferred him to the Bay Area to work for Hiller Aircraft. Bill went on to serve as President of the Ferry Morse Seed Company in Mountain View until retirement with the never-ending support of Adele. The couple enjoyed life in Cupertino, California, with their four children until moving to Saratoga, California, in 1970 where Adele lived for the remainder of her life.
Adele was an avid and accomplished bridge player and participated in many bridge groups in the Saratoga community. She was a long-time member of La Rinconada Country Club and Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed her later years residing at the Saratoga Retirement Community where she had many friends.
