After a courageous fight with Pulmonary Fibrosis, Robert Marshall Harris passed away in his sleep on June 11, 2017. He passed away peacefully after enjoying an evening with his wife and his favorite home cooked dinner. His family feels grateful to have recently spent extensive time at his bedside, enjoying watching the Warriors game with him and wonderful dinners together.
Bob is survived by his childhood sweetheart and then wife of 63 years, B. Darlene Harris, his daughter Beth Harris Pervier and son in law, Roderick Pervier of Pownal, Maine, Todd and Lisa Harris of Los Gatos and his four grandsons, of whom he was very proud.
A private Celebration Of Life / Memorial Service will be held later in the summer.
Bob so wished for more research and resources dedicated to better understanding Pulmonary Fibrosis and efforts toward a cure from the disease that is presently, incurable and untreatable. In his memory, he asked for others to educate themselves on Pulmonary Fibrosis, how to care for their respiratory health and perhaps to fund efforts toward a cure.
